On July 21st Steffen Kelch from our Open Component Model project holds a talk at the Cloud Native Summit Munich!
Headline: OCM: Rethinking Software Delivery with a Secure and Standardized Approach
Abstract: The Open Component Model (OCM) introduces a technology-agnostic standard for secure software delivery, functioning as a Software Bill of Delivery (SBOD) that ensures integrity and provenance across the supply chain. OCM’s unique identifier system enables seamless delivery across public cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments such as Kubernetes, while integrating with GitOps tools like Flux for automated, secure deployments. The Open Component Model (OCM) project is donated to NeoNephos Foundation (Linux Foundation) which is initiated by the European Unions as part of “important project of common European interests (IPCEI-CIS)”. The IPCEI Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services is the key digital policy project aimed at strengthening Europe’s digital and technological sovereignty.
